July ’23 – 9711 impeller flowmeter.

Groundsearch Australia Pty. Limited. recently added a CENTURY GEOPHYSICAL, LLC 9711 Impeller Flowmeter to our logging tool inventory to complement the existing 9722 EM Flowmeter stock for fast acquisition in high flow boreholes. Being able to run continuously at 15-18 MPM in and out of hole to gain high accuracy data for our clients cuts rig downtime and ultimately saves money.

September ’21 – Formation of strategic industry partnership.

Groundsearch Australia is pleased to announce its new working relationship with RSC Consulting Ltd. The collaboration enhances Groundsearch’s ongoing expansion ambitions into new geoscience markets by gaining access to the latest technologies, operative expertise and managerial practices.

Groundsearch Australia is based in the NSW Hunter Valley and is a leading provider of downhole petrophysical logging, DHEM/MMR, and 3D cavity survey services with support from long-standing, international technical partnerships.

Groundsearch Australia sees the new venture significantly strengthens its ability to optimise next-generation exploration and project development outcomes.

July ’21 – New EM Flowmeter.

Groundsearch Australia has just received a new EM Flowmeter to complement our current range of geophysical logging tools. The intended use is to log artesian bores in the North of NSW but there are many other applications where this tool can benefit our clients from domestic bores through to high output industrial bores and everything in-between.

April ’21 – High Temperature/High Pressure PVT Bottom Hole Sampling.

Groundsearch Australia in conjunction with Flodim SARL are proud to offer PVT bottom hole sampling with no surface transfer. Know your reservoir characteristics utilising the latest technology available in Australasia

Applications for PVT BHS

The EZ BHS instrument is the only downhole sampling system that allows the laboratory to analyse the sample in the exact fluid reservoir composition and conditions.

March ’21 – Next Generation Optical Imagery and Caliper Measurement for NQ and BQ size boreholes.

Groundsearch Australia’s OPTV38 and 3AC38 3-Arm Caliper

Applications for Optical Televiewer Logs

Thanks to the unsurpassed image quality available from our equipment, an optical borehole scan is capable of determining the finest of details  within the logged section of the borehole.

This enables a complete visual appreciation of the target zone in terms of lithology, mineralisation, alteration, to develop a structural model of an ore body and host rocks based on an analysis of the different types of discontinuities present.

July ’20 – Next Generation Optical Imagery.

Groundsearch Australia’s OPTV52

Applications for Optical Televiewer Logs

Thanks to the unsurpassed image quality available from our equipment, an optical borehole scan is capable of determining the finest of details  within the logged section of the borehole.

This enables a complete visual appreciation of the target zone in terms of lithology, mineralisation, alteration, to develop a structural model of an ore body and host rocks based on an analysis of the different types of discontinuity present (bedding, fractures, joints and veins)

Intended use;

Open hole

  • Detailed and oriented structural information
  • Reference for core orientation
  • Fracture detection and evaluation
  • Breakout analysis
  • Lithology and mineralogy characterisation

Cased hole

  • Casing inspection
